This is the kind of small town police you will loath as a outsider. The quintessential police trap. You will likely be stopped and the officer will lie..as evident by his own recorded statements which contradict himself.
These guys are not brother officers. I warn every other police officer in this state not to trust these guys. Hope you don't have to find out the hard way. For the record I am a retired law enforcement police captain.
this local police station does not care about its residents. such a disappointment.
Give them your poor, tired, and hungry and they will incarcerate them. An embarrassment to modern day society. Social economics means nothing to them when the law dictates they have full reigns over society with no accountability for their actions.
A department that only cares about thier own. They teach thier officers to lie and decieve. Thier officers are just a bunch of high school freshmen in halloween costumes. They dont know the law at all, and tried to write me a ticket for tints that were applied at the factory on a brand new minivan. Meanwhile half the police department and municipal staff have thier windows tinted and violate the law everyday. They are professional crooks. The police, the prosecutor, and judge, the clerk. All professional SCAM artists. Hint hint.... They all work together to scam you out of your money, and they dont care about you....
The court in this town "takes care of their own". These are not my words but rather the words of two lawyers, one of whom lived in the town and 3 judges.
Discovery documents and a court date required 4 1.2 hour trips each way to the courthouse and 3 hour waits every time. They really know how to force every defendent to expend the maximum effort for the minimum reward and plea guilty to reckless driving.
